Review of the major Wind Power Turbine Manufacturers - Part 2
Recently I have posted Major Wind Power Turbines Suppliers - Part 1. In this post I will continue the review of the biggest wind turbine manufacturers and in particular the other two large players on the wind power turbines market: Enercon and Gamesa.
1. I will start with Enercon -
They are providing Wind Power Turbines in the range of 330kw up to 2megawatts.

Servicing and maintenance of all wind turbines installed by ENERCON
Wind turbine monitoring via remote data transmission
Maintaining technical availability of wind turbines serviced by ENERCON
Customer care in all technical and commercial matters

The most interesting service for me is the ENERCON PartnerKonzept. This is a contract which gives the customer security and operations costs reduction.

2. Gamesa - Gamesa is one of the major wind turbine manufacturers worldwide. They are of course the leading renewable energy company in Spain and in particular in the sector of the production, sale, installation and maintenance of wind turbines. In 2006 the company was ranked SECOND worldwide in wind turbines supplied. In 2006 they have more than 10,000 MW installed and their market share is about 15,6 % (BTM Consult ApS).
Products
Gamesa product range contains wind power turbines with capacity for producing power from 850 KW up to 2.0 MW. The main characteristics of Gamesa’s wind turbines are their robustness, adaptability, reliability and maximum performance on all types of sites and in all types of winds.
Services
Gamesa offers its customers a list services that go far beyond the provision of wind energy equipment:
installation of turnkey wind farms: Gamesa is capable of offering a full turnkey supply. operation and maintenance of wind farms: Full Service Package, Gamesa SGIPE, remote and local control system, Gamesa SMP Predictive Maintenance System. other services.
Summer - both companies Enercon and Gamesa provide similar services and products - wind power turbines up to 2 megawatts plus several levels of support including operational and maintenance services.
