Going Green + More Green Buzzwords
More and more things are getting plastered with “green”. So many times you are looking for alternatives.
Some recent (2008) research shows that 61 percent of Americans respond favorably to the word ‘green’, 63 percent to the word ’sustainability’, 73 percent to ‘conservation’ and 88 percent to the word ‘efficiency.’ There are some further breakdowns for different demographic/political groups but the ideas that resonate include helping the planet, reducing waste, reducing energy use and dependence on foreign countries for supply, etc.
Some alternatives of “going green” word: healthful, organic, holistic, enviro-conscious, restorative, or environmentally responsible, greenwashing, environment friendly.
