Q-Cells Wins Europe’s „Business of the Year“

Company wins European Business Award 2009
Bitterfeld-Wolfen, 9 April 2009. Q-Cells SE has won the prestigious European Business Award 2009 in the category „Business of the Year“. This independent Awards programme is designed to recognise and promote excellence, best practice and innovation in the European business community. The „Business of the Year“ Award is presented to the company that has best demonstrated exceptional financial returns, strong growth, market leadership in its sector and innovative strategies. The prices were awarded in Rome on Tuesday, 7 April 2009.
The top level judging panel fort his category consisted of Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, Chairman of the Board and former CEO of Nestlé S.A., Gilbert Ghostine, Managing Director of Diageo Continental Europe, and the former Presidents of Bulgaria and Estonia, Petar Stoyanov and Arnold Rüütel.
