Fronius International GmbH has been researching new technologies for converting electrical energy for more than 60 years. That is six decades of experience, progress and constant innovation. Along with the Solar Electronics division, the company, which is headquartered in Austria, is also a world-renowned technology leader in Battery Charging Systems and Welding Technology.
The use of renewable energy and resource conservation are a fixed part of the Fronius company culture, and an example of this can be seen at the Sattledt production and logistics facility in Upper Austria that went into operation in 2007: Power is supplied via a photovoltaic system and it has its own biomass heating system.
The Solar Electronics division was started in 1992 and markets its products worldwide via a network of sales partners. It develops and manufactures high-performance inverters for grid-connected solar power systems of all sizes. In addition, Fronius also offers a comprehensive range of components for professional plant supervision, data display and data analysis. They are available as individual solutions or as a total package as required.
Fronius continues to set new international standards with new technologies and creative ideas. An example is the innovative MIX™ design which provides maximum power from a minimum amount of sunlight.
Fronius inverters are extremely reliable, efficient and powerful.
Fronius also places great emphasis on user-friendliness and outstanding customer service. The modular design of the new "Fronius IG Plus" series greatly simplifies equipment installation. In addition, all components for system monitoring have a plug and play design, making upgrades easy and providing maximum flexibility.
