JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. (JA Solar) is principally involved in the manufacture, development, and sales & service of high-quality solar photovoltaic products to global markets. On February 7, 2007, JA Solar completed a successful Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the NASDAQ, listed with NasdaqGM: JASO. 
JA Solar was established in May 2005 and commenced commercial operations in April 2006 by starting the first solar cell manufacturing line in Hebei province. The Corporate Headquarters is located in Shanghai, China with current manufacturing facilities located in Ningjin, Hebei Province and Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province. The Yangzhou operation commenced production in the second half of 2008 and hosts JA Solar brand new R & D center.
