Nordex wins 49.5 MW project in China

Delivery of 33 turbines planned for summer 2011

Hamburg, 24 May 2011. Nordex is continuing its long-standing business partnership with Ningxia Electric Power: the Chinese power supplier has now ordered 33 S82/1500 machines for its “Niushoushan I” and “Niushoushan II” wind farms, thus increasing its Nordex portfolio to more than 250 MW.

The “Niushoushan” projects are to be installed to the South-East of the city of Qingtongxia, in the region of Ningxia. The wind turbines will be delivered in the summer of 2011 and will produce more than 130 gigawatt hours per year.
